Gambling Took me Around the World
Since I was 18 I have been gambling I think it all first started with a football match me betting with my friends what the score was going to be. I think it was between Arsenal and West Ham I bet on west ham winning 2-1. So I placed my bet, a rather large one of £100, well the match started at around 3pm and 30 mins into the game Arsenal scored, I was in pain my knees shaking and my hands were getting in a sweat. Then just before half time “wham” west ham scored 1-1.
The second half had started by now I was in a better mood from what I can remember it was pretty boring to say the least then it got to 80mins I started to get abit nervous again and then oh no Arsenal get a penalty, guess what it goes over the bar.
Now I just wanted the match to be over I knew I was not going to win, suddenly in extra time West ham score they stole the match 2-1 and I netted myself a nice little profit.
From then on I started hitting the scene big time. Casinos the most, every other night I was down the rendezvous, it started off we me mastering roulette although some people say the game is only about the luck of the draw I knew it was much more, you needed technique and skill and that’s what I had, ok I did lose some money in the beginning but the adrenalin rush I got was worth every penny. Not only that the best thing was I started winning and winning big amounts – not enough to quit my job just yet but enough to buy nice stuff.
After a few months went by I got into poker, I read, I researched and I played online for free before I got into a serious game, because I knew that I could master this art and not lose like I did before. Well my first game of poker was about 11pm and that was when I hit the jackpot and my life changed. From then on I have been winning poker games all around the world I have been able to quit my job and I have visited every country in Europe building up my small fortune.
Poker is a game for the skilled if you are reading this don’t just think you can go out one day and master the art, you will have to research and have to lose to gain, I was in it for the long run Nowadays there are a lot of casinos with a lot of skilled players anyone starting out I recommend getting into rakeback poker first as you wont lose as much.
Well that is my story and my life of how gambling has taken me around the world, I read a lot of articles about it ruining peoples lives and trust me gambling will beat you everyday of the week if you don’t go in there with the right mind.
